The Black Compact Sharps Bin is a portable 0.4 litre container designed for the temporary storage and disposal of compatible used needles and syringes. Its compact format makes it suitable where a smaller sharps container is preferred for carrying, storage or individual use.

Manufactured from puncture-resistant material, the container provides a dedicated space for used sharps prior to appropriate disposal. The compact dimensions make it easier to carry than larger conventional sharps containers while still providing capacity for multiple syringes.

The container features a wide opening that allows compatible sharps to be placed inside without requiring the user to position their fingers close to a narrow aperture. Its design also provides visibility of the available internal space, helping users identify when the container is approaching capacity.

A secure closure system allows the lid to be opened and closed during normal use before being permanently locked when the container is ready for disposal. The locking mechanism is designed to provide a clear closed and locked position and helps prevent the container from being permanently locked accidentally before use is complete.

The 0.4 litre capacity can accommodate up to approximately 25 x 1ml syringes or 13 x 2ml syringes when used for disposal, depending on the individual syringe design and configuration.
